APM are proud to launch The Work and Health Programme.

This month we embark on a new chapter within the employability sector, with the start of the Work and Health Programme (WHP) in partnership with Reed in the North East and Shaw Trust in Central England.

Work and Health programme is a government funded service designed to provide personalised support to clients. The programme looks at how to enhance all aspect of a client’s life and not just their employment outcomes.

Mark Harrison, Operations Director said “Work and Health provides the opportunity for our employability pillar to continue it’s great work over many years and a wealth of experience working with the most disadvantaged clients. I have every confidence that the team will perform fantastically and be the glue that supports an individual with multiple barriers, by working closely alongside specialist support services, in order to help and support improvements within their lives to eventually progress back into sustainable employment.”

The team have started well with the referrals flowing through in the first week and ambitions for this contract are high. Mark added “We have an excellent team in place to start the programme, and many more colleagues will join as the contract grows over the coming weeks. Our aim will not only be to deliver our current contract allocation, but grow our foot print in both regions and hopefully across other regions. We aim to be the number one WHP performer, for which I am 100% confident that we have the team to do it, who are dedicated and passionate enabling better lives.”
