Interview with Elaine - Supply Chain Manager, West Midlands

How long have you been doing what you do?

I joined the company as an outreach worker in 2008, spending time with Probation Services as an Employment Coach. When the company won sub-contracting opportunities in the South East, I worked in Surrey for a while helping with the implementation there. I secured a Business Manager role in 2012 for a Family Support Programme in Manchester and I have recently been appointed Supply Chain Manager for the Midlands.

What are you most passionate about professionally? What most excites you about your work and the contribution you can make at APM?

I am always looking to maximise performance and ensure we are achieving in all areas, monitoring budget and finance in line with the wider business. I do get involved with delivering services to customers when needed and cover for team absence.

What are the best aspects about working for APM? What makes APM great?

The people - colleagues, partners, and customers, love them all. I have met my best friends here at APM!

Where can you be found when you’re not working? What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

I am mum to a wonderful young lady Sophie, she is 27 years old. I love spending time with her, visiting the gym, walking, theatre visits and of course, shopping!
